During our last fiscal year, ending June 30, 2011, UESF

 

​Served over 4,400 families in our Utility Grant Program.

 

​Prevented homelessness for over 185 families in our Homelessness Prevention Program.

 

​Kept over 125 families current with mortgage, rent or utility bills in our Emergency Shelter

   Program;

 

​Through our partnership with the Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation  

   (PWDC),  provided utility and housing assistance to over 345 TANF Housing Stabilization

   Program recipients to stabilize their housing so that they can participate in training, education,

   and employment activities--and ultimately become employed and leave the welfare system, and

 

​Stabilized housing for over 70 families with a disabled family member in our Disability Housing

   Stabilization Program.
