Sunny skies and Lederach Golf Club were the scene for the 13th Annual PECO Universal Services Best Ball Golf Tournament. Held on Monday, October 19, 2009, 80 golfers took to the links in the best ball tournament benefiting the Matching Energy Assistance Fund agencies including Bucks County Opportunity Council, the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, the Montgomery County Community Action Development Commission and the Utility Emergency Services Fund.
As it has done in the past, UESF worked with PECO in organizing the annual fundraiser. This year, the event raised over $30,000 to assist low-income PECO customers through the successful Matching Energy Assistance Fund.
Golfers enjoyed lunch and dinner at the Lederach clubhouse while a small program recognized the tournament winners. A raffle of golf related items completed the day. Sponsors for the day included:
