Adopt a Family

In past years many small businesses, religious and civic organizations across the Delaware Valley, have helped the Utility Emergency Services Fund in our mission to keep Philadelphia warm one family at a time though UESF's Adopt-A-Family program.

The Adopt-A-Family program is a special $250 contribution given to UESF to provide electric, gas and water service for the entire year to a needy family. This contribution is roughly half the average grant given to families by UESF.

Being considered low income encompasses a variety of situations including, the unemployed, under-employed, the elderly and the disabled, which increases the need for your UESF donation. Please consider making a donation to UESF's Adopt-A-Family program. For as little as $250 you can help a family afford the basic necessities of home.
